Buyer Policy

About the summaries in this document: Some sections include a "Key Points (Non-Binding Summary)" or similar convenience summary. A summary is provided for convenience only, does not replace or modify the full policy, and the complete provisions shall prevail in case of any inconsistency.

To understand a Buyer's core responsibilities, see "Buyer Eligibility and Responsibility". To understand why independent checks matter, see "Independent Due Diligence" and "Verification and Verified Buy Lead Limitations". To understand what may happen if this Policy is not followed, see "Enforcement and Account Restrictions". For official contact details, see "Contact Information".

1. Introduction

This Buyer Policy (the "Policy") explains the responsibilities and standards that apply to Buyers using Click4Exports (the "Platform"), a technology-driven global business-to-business (B2B) marketplace and digital business discovery platform operated by Connect Aura Tech Private Limited (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

Click4Exports operates as a neutral technology platform, a business discovery and digital visibility platform, and a communication facilitator between businesses. It does not become a party to transactions between users and does not act as a buyer, seller, agent, broker, logistics provider, payment intermediary, guarantor, or certification authority in connection with any transaction between a buyer and a seller. This policy explains what a buyer is responsible for and how the platform's buying and discovery features are intended to be used, consistent with that neutral role.

This Policy is intended for Buyers, procurement teams, importers, traders, and other authorised business representatives (each a "Buyer") using the Platform for commercial, professional, industrial, trading, or related purposes. By posting requirements, contacting sellers, or otherwise using the platform as a buyer, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy, and you agree to comply with it together with the terms & conditions, the applicable process available at the relevant time, and applicable laws.

Key Points (Non-Binding Summary)

Quick Summary (Non-Binding): This summary is provided for convenience only. It does not replace or modify the full policy, and the detailed provisions shall prevail in case of any inconsistency.

2. Scope and Application

This policy applies to all use of the platform by buyers, including the creation and maintenance of buyer profiles and business information, the posting of buying requirements and requests for quotations (RFQs), communication with sellers, participation in inquiry, lead, and matching features, the upload of content, and the use of verification, membership, and other platform features made available to buyers from time to time.

This policy governs buyer-specific responsibilities. It does not restate general contractual matters, which remain governed by the Terms & Conditions, and it does not replace the more specific policies that govern particular matters.

3. Relationship with the Terms & Conditions and Other Policies

This Policy is a Level 2 specialised policy that forms part of, and should be read together with, the Click4Exports Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). Capitalised terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms.

This policy should also be read together with the Acceptable Use Policy (acceptable and prohibited conduct), the Verification Policy (verification programmes, including any Verified Buy Lead status), the Intellectual Property Policy (ownership, licensing, and infringement reporting), the Membership Terms (paid memberships and buyer-facing paid features), the Refund & Cancellation Policy (fees, refunds, and cancellations relating to the company's own paid services), the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (processing of personal data and use of cookies), and the Seller Policy (seller responsibilities), so that buyers and sellers are treated on a consistent and balanced basis.

In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions govern general contractual matters, while the more specific policy governs the specific subject matter addressed by that policy. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable laws. The version of a policy validly incorporated into the user's agreement at the relevant time shall apply, subject to any applicable notice or transition requirements. Matters relating to governing law, jurisdiction, dispute resolution, limitation of liability, indemnity, and grievance redressal are addressed in the Terms and are not restated here.

4. Definitions

Unless otherwise specifically defined in this Policy, capitalised terms have the meanings given to them in the Terms, and similar terms maintain consistent meaning across all Platform documents. For convenience, in this policy, "Buyer" means a business user seeking products, services, or business opportunities, or otherwise using the platform in a buying, sourcing, or procurement capacity; "Seller" means a supplier or other user offering products or services; "Requirement" (or "Buy Requirement") means a buying requirement, sourcing request, or RFQ posted or submitted by a buyer; "Lead" means information relating to a potential business opportunity made available through the platform; and "Buyer Content" means business information, requirements, messages, documents, and other content a buyer uploads or makes available through the platform.

5. Buyer Eligibility and Responsibility

Buying and sourcing features of the Platform are intended for businesses and their authorised representatives using the Platform for lawful commercial purposes. A buyer must hold a valid account, comply with the terms and applicable policies, and have the authority to act on behalf of the business it represents. A buyer is responsible for its own business information, requirements, communications, evaluations, negotiations, contracts, payments, regulatory compliance, and commercial decisions, subject to applicable laws and the responsibilities expressly undertaken by the company under the terms or applicable policies.

The Company does not source, procure, inspect, endorse, or take responsibility for the products or services a Buyer seeks or obtains; does not set commercial terms between businesses; and does not guarantee the outcome of any sourcing activity. Using the platform as a buyer does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship between a buyer and the company.

6. Buyer Profile and Business Information

A buyer must provide business and profile information that is accurate, not misleading, and reasonably current and must promptly update information where a material change could make the information misleading or inaccurate. A buyer must not misrepresent its identity, authority, affiliations, or purchasing intent and must not claim a status, authorisation, or affiliation it does not genuinely hold.

7. Posting Requirements, Buy Requirements and RFQs

The platform may allow buyers to post buying requirements, submit RFQs, and use related sourcing features. It is important to distinguish between a buyer-posted requirement, an RFQ, a seller's response, a lead, any platform-generated recommendation or matching, and an actual commercial transaction. A posted requirement, RFQ, or lead is an expression of interest or a discovery signal; it is not a contract, and it does not by itself create any binding commitment between businesses.

Buyer requirements must be genuine, relevant, reasonably complete, and not misleading and must reflect a bona fide sourcing or purchasing interest. A buyer must not post fake requirements, artificial enquiries, manipulated RFQs, spam requirements, or duplicate requirements created to manipulate visibility and must not use requirements or RFQs to misrepresent purchasing intent or to manipulate rankings, leads, activity metrics, or platform systems.

8. Accuracy of Buyer Requirements

A buyer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the requirements, specifications, quantities, timelines, and other information it provides. Where a requirement changes or is no longer active, a Buyer should update or close it within a reasonable period so that Sellers are not misled. Indicative requirements or specifications remain subject to confirmation in direct dealings between the businesses concerned.

9. Communication with Sellers

A buyer should communicate with sellers professionally, honestly, and in good faith, using the platform's communication features for genuine business purposes. A buyer must not use communication or marketplace tools to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, harassing or abusive content, or messages inconsistent with the intended business purpose of those tools, consistent with the Acceptable Use Policy. A buyer is responsible for the content of its own communications, including any representations or commitments it makes.

10. Enquiries, Leads and Supplier Responses

The Platform may make available inquiries, Leads, supplier responses, recommendations, and other business-discovery features intended to support connections between businesses, where applicable and subject to operational availability. Information supplied through the Platform, including information relating to Sellers, responses, or Leads, may originate from Users or other sources and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unverified.

The Company does not guarantee that a Buyer will receive any response, a particular number of suppliers, a particular price, a qualified supplier, a verified supplier, or a successful transaction, and does not guarantee the quantity, quality, accuracy, relevance, timeliness, or availability of any inquiry, response, or Lead. A Buyer remains responsible for independently assessing any Seller, response, or Lead before acting on it.

11. Independent Due Diligence

A Buyer is responsible for conducting its own independent due diligence before entering into any agreement, making any payment, or accepting any commercial commitment. This includes independently verifying a Seller's identity, credentials, products, services, pricing, capabilities, and any documents or claims, and satisfying itself as to the suitability and legality of a proposed transaction. Independent due diligence remains necessary regardless of any verification status, Lead, recommendation, or Platform feature, and the Company does not perform due diligence on a Buyer's behalf.

12. Verification and Verified Buy Lead Limitations

The Company may make available verification programs, which are governed by the Verification Policy. Any verification status, including a status referred to as Verified Buy Lead, reflects only that the applicable verification process available at the relevant time has been completed with respect to the specific information or documents reviewed.

Verification does not guarantee genuine purchasing intent, financial capability, future conduct, transaction completion, or the elimination of fraud or commercial risk, and is not an endorsement by the Company. Verification does not remove a Buyer's or a Seller's responsibility to conduct independent due diligence. Verification status may expire, require renewal, or be suspended or withdrawn, as described in the Verification Policy.

13. Commercial Negotiations and Transactions

Quotations, negotiations, pricing, terms, and any resulting contract are agreed directly between the Buyer and the Seller. The Company does not negotiate contracts on behalf of Users, set commercial prices, guarantee payments, inspect products, control delivery, guarantee product quality, or guarantee Seller performance.

Any contract is formed between the businesses concerned, subject to the terms they agree and Applicable Laws. The Company is not a party to, and does not assume responsibility for, the terms or performance of any Buyer-Seller transaction, except to the extent any responsibility is expressly undertaken by the Company or cannot lawfully be excluded under Applicable Laws.

14. Orders, Payments, Delivery and Seller Performance

A Buyer is responsible for its own purchasing decisions, order terms, payment arrangements, and evaluation of products or services, in accordance with the terms it agrees with the Seller and Applicable Laws. Matters such as payment security, delivery, product conformity, warranties, and returns between a Buyer and a Seller are a matter for the businesses concerned.

The Company does not handle, hold, secure, or guarantee payments, and does not control, inspect, or guarantee delivery, product quality, or Seller performance. Refunds or cancellations relating to the Company's own paid Services are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which applies to the Company's applicable paid Services only and does not automatically create refund rights in respect of any Buyer-Seller transaction. Disputes between a Buyer and a Seller are matters between those businesses, subject to any rights, responsibilities, or dispute-resolution mechanisms expressly provided under the Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

15. Prohibited and Misleading Buyer Conduct

Without limiting the Acceptable Use Policy, a Buyer must not engage in conduct including:

These restrictions supplement, and do not replace, the Acceptable Use Policy, which applies in full to Buyer conduct.

16. Spam, Duplicate Requirements and Platform Manipulation

A Buyer must maintain genuine, relevant, reasonably complete, and non-misleading requirements, and must not create duplicate or substantially duplicative requirements, or artificially inflate the number of requirements, inquiries, or interactions, in order to manipulate visibility, search results, Leads, rankings, activity metrics, or discovery features. The Company may, according to the applicable process available at the relevant time, review, organise, limit, or remove requirements or activity that appear to be duplicative, spam, misleading, manipulative, or of low quality, consistent with this Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Terms.

17. Buyer Data and Privacy

Where a Buyer receives personal information or other information relating to a Seller through the Platform, the Buyer must handle it in accordance with Applicable Laws and only for legitimate purposes connected with the relevant inquiry, requirement, or transaction. A Buyer must not misuse Seller information, including by using it for unsolicited marketing inconsistent with Applicable Laws or by sharing it other than as permitted.

The Company's own processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by the Cookie Policy. This Policy does not modify those documents.

18. Intellectual Property and Uploaded Content

A Buyer must respect the intellectual property rights of the Company, Sellers, and third parties, and must have the rights, licences, or permissions necessary for any content it uploads or makes available, including specifications, drawings, documents, images, and other Buyer Content, and including content created or modified with the assistance of automated or AI-based tools. Ownership, licensing, permitted use, and the procedure for reporting alleged infringement are governed by the Intellectual Property Policy; this Policy does not establish a separate infringement-reporting procedure.

19. Reviews, Ratings and Feedback

Where the Platform makes available reviews, ratings, or feedback features, a Buyer must not manipulate, falsify, or otherwise interfere with them, and must not post or procure false or misleading reviews or ratings, consistent with the Acceptable Use Policy. Reviews, ratings, and feedback, where available, are one input among many and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or verification by the Company.

20. Off-Platform Transactions

Businesses may choose to communicate or transact outside the Platform. Where they do so, any such off-platform communication, negotiation, contract, payment, or transaction is conducted between the businesses concerned. The Company is not a party to, and does not assume responsibility for, the terms or performance of off-platform dealings between Users, except to the extent any responsibility is expressly undertaken by the Company or cannot lawfully be excluded under Applicable Laws. Platform features intended to protect or record on-platform activity may not apply to off-platform dealings.

21. Platform Features, Memberships and Paid Services

Certain Buyer features may be offered as paid memberships or paid Services, according to the applicable plan available at the relevant time. Participation in such features is subject to the Membership Terms and the applicable plan terms, and refund and cancellation matters are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Paid features may support a Buyer's sourcing activity and marketplace participation, but do not guarantee supplier responses, prices, availability, savings, procurement outcomes, or any commercial result.

The Platform may make available AI-powered or automated features, such as search, recommendations, matching, or automated lead discovery. Such features are provided as assistance technologies and do not guarantee that any output or recommendation is accurate, complete, suitable, current, professionally verified, or commercially successful. A Buyer remains responsible for independently reviewing and deciding whether to rely on any such output. Additional requirements applicable to AI-powered and automated features are governed by the applicable AI & Automated Systems Policy.

22. Enforcement and Account Restrictions

Where the Company identifies, or receives a report of, conduct that appears inconsistent with this Policy, the Company may take proportionate action according to the applicable process available at the relevant time, including, illustratively and without limitation: requesting clarification or corrective information; restricting, hiding, or removing content or requirements; limiting access to a feature or tool; and restricting, suspending, or terminating an Account in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

The Company may take urgent action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect Users, the Platform, security, legal compliance, or third-party rights. The Company may apply one or more of these measures in any order or combination, and the exercise or non-exercise of discretion in one instance does not create an expectation of similar action, or inaction, in another. This Policy does not create fixed penalties, a mandatory escalation sequence, or a guarantee that any particular violation will result in a particular outcome, and it does not provide that every violation results in permanent Account termination. The detailed rules governing Account restriction, suspension, or termination remain set out in the Terms & Conditions.

23. Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations of this Policy using the reporting channels made available on the Platform from time to time, or the contact details under "Contact Information". Suspected prohibited conduct may also be reported as described in the Acceptable Use Policy, and suspected intellectual property infringement should be reported through the process in the Intellectual Property Policy. Submitting a report does not, by itself, guarantee any particular outcome or action.

24. Changes to this Policy

The Company may update or modify this Policy from time to time due to new Platform features, new or evolving technologies, business changes, legal or regulatory developments, security requirements, or operational improvements. Where changes are material, the Company may communicate them through reasonable notice methods, such as notification through the Platform, email to the address associated with the Account, or posting on the official website. Unless otherwise permitted or required by Applicable Laws or the Terms, material changes will apply prospectively from the stated effective date. The "Last Updated" date indicates when this Policy was most recently revised.

25. Contact Information

For general questions regarding this Buyer Policy, please use the contact details below or the designated channels identified on the Platform. Matters governed by another policy should be raised through that policy: verification queries through the Verification Policy, intellectual property complaints through the Intellectual Property Policy, billing and refund matters through the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and formal complaints through the grievance redressal mechanism described in the Terms & Conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are buyers responsible for on Click4Exports?

Buyers are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of their business information and requirements, their communications with sellers, independent supplier due diligence, negotiations, contracts, payments, product evaluation, and their own commercial decisions, subject to applicable law and Click4Exports policies.

Does Click4Exports guarantee supplier responses or successful purchases?

No. Click4Exports may provide marketplace, discovery, visibility, lead, and communication features, but it does not guarantee supplier responses, a particular number of suppliers, prices, availability, delivery, or a successful transaction. Commercial results depend on multiple factors outside the platform's control.

Does Verified Buy Lead status guarantee genuine purchasing intent?

No. Verification reflects completion of the applicable verification process available at the relevant time. It does not guarantee purchasing intent, financial capability, future conduct, or transaction completion, and does not remove the need for independent due diligence.

What should a buyer check before dealing with a supplier?

Buyers should independently verify a supplier's identity, credentials, products, pricing, capabilities, and any documents or claims, and satisfy themselves as to the suitability and legality of a proposed transaction, regardless of any verification status or platform feature.

What can happen if a buyer violates the Buyer Policy?

Depending on the circumstances, Click4Exports may request corrective action, restrict or remove content or requirements, limit platform functionality, suspend or restrict an account, or take other measures permitted under its Terms, policies, and applicable law.
